Sadly, you won’t be surprised to learn that YeurLeadin’ 20 is being postponed with everyone’s health at the top of our minds, but still with regret. Our new date is Saturday & Sunday, 23rd & 24th January 2021. So much for our 2020 vision… best laid plans and all!
We spotted this tweet by Salesforce recently which summed out how we feel about our community, even if we are a little bit more physically spaced than we would like.
TL;DR (too long; didn’t read): Existing tickets are now valid for the new date; if anyone wants a refund there’s more details about this below.
So what’s the good news?
Challenges are great for spurring innovation, and we’re feeling it. There’s going to be an awful lot of new leadership and facilitation skills being learned in the next few months. We’re happy to participate in sharing these new insights if we can – we’ve already hosted a group call for Community Group Leaders to discuss how to host virtual meetings. It’s now recorded and available online as we feel the discussion that was had can help benefit the wider community.
We’ve also launched a dedicated Slack space to facilitate Community Leaders discussing all things Ohana. Whether it’s coordinating a Dreamin event, working out the volunteering schedule for a Basecamp, discussing how to use Event in a Box or to ask if anyone is available to do a last-minute stand-in presentation, this Slack space is there for you to get help, reflection and assistance from your peers. There’s also the YeurLeadin’ Trailblazer Success/Chatter group too.
Finally we’ve got the YeurLeadin’ blog and mailing list. It’s a dedicated space for anyone who wants to post or vlog about all matters Leadership, and it’s even better if there’s an Ohana-tinge to it. Whether you’re coming at it from a Community Group, Salesforce Saturday or Community Conference perspective, the aim is that we can all learn from each other.
Ultimately, we continue to appreciate that we’re all there for each other, and we’re still having fun whilst doing it!

Your ticket remains valid for the new date and there is no action required on your side (except moving YeurLeadin’ in your calendar).
If you want a refund on your ticket, that’s also no problem for us as we’re a much smaller event (around 100 participants) and haven’t yet spent any hard cash. To get your refund simply follow the Eventbrite FAQ or mail us. If you change your mind at a later date you can purchase tickets then (subject to availability!).
Also, if you asked to be signed up to our mailing list as part of the ticket buying process, we’ve now processed those requests (there was previously a “slight” oversight – apologies!).
